Color Master Batch (also called masterbatch or color concentrate) is a granular pigment concentrate used for coloring plastics. It is made by compounding an over-concentrated amount of pigments/dyes with dispersing agents, using thermoplastic resin as the carrier. It replaces traditional powder pigments — a small amount blended into natural resin during processing achieves uniform coloring. It features high tinting strength, stable color, dust-free handling, and easy metering.

As a mature plastic coloring product, color masterbatch covers a wide range of base resins including polyolefins and engineering plastics, and is further divided into series such as standard masterbatch, white masterbatch, black masterbatch, and functional masterbatch, meeting the coloring needs of the packaging, automotive, home appliance, textile, and building materials industries.
